"The Red Sea Afar People in particular and Eritrean People as whole is suffering under the Eritrean regime (Shabia) in Asmara.To mention few my people is facing Mass murder, Discrimination, Rape, Blockage, Torture and countless offenses.Basic human and democratic rights are violated and there is no rule of law.

 

The only solution left for the Afar People in this situation is to struggle and fight for their right. Our struggle is not only struggle for Democracy rather for “Survival” because we are facing a “Mass Genocide” by the regime and heading to "Non-existance".

 

So I call on our brethren Afar wherever they are and International community to support our struggle and help the indigenous Afar people in Eritrea"
